On the first day, all visitors will be picked up from Arusha and driven to Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park is not as popular as others, but it is definitely every bit as beautiful, with unique attractions, like tree-climbing lions, blue monkeys and the soda-ash lake. Nighttime will be spent at lodges in Manyara, as well.

Accommodation: Lodges/ Tented camps rated 4 (Very good) or higher at Tripadvisor.com.

  • Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park –Sererengeti National Park

The second day will feature the trip towards Serengeti, but not before enjoying a cultural excursion to see where coffee, corn and wheat is grown by local farmers. Towards the middle of the day, you will arrive at Serengeti National Park, which is the largest and most appreciated national park in Tanzania. It not only offers an impressive diversity of wildlife, but also exquisite scenery. The night will be spent here, at lodges that have been especially arranged.

Accommodation: Lodges/ Tented camps rated 4 (Very good) or higher at Tripadvisor.com.

  • Day 3

    Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park requires at least a full day, so you can have ample time to admire everything and go on exciting game drives. You will be able to see big carnivores and other dangerous animals on the game drive and, if you’re lucky, you will have the rare opportunity to witness the migration of zebra and wildebeest. In addition, here you can also spot endangered species, such as the black rhinoceros. By far, one of the most interesting activities available at Serengeti is the Balloon Safari, but you can also engage in cultural activities, such as visiting the Maasai village or the Olduvai Museum. This will be your second night spent at Serengeti.

Accommodation: Lodges/ Tented camps rated 4 (Very good) or higher at Tripadvisor.com.

  • Day 4

    Ngorongoro Conservation Area

A trip to Ngorongoro is going to take place on your fourth day, when you will have the chance to see the incredible Ngorongoro crater. It is among the largest unbroken calderas in the world and the views are completely breathtaking. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is unique in that it is the only place in the world where wild animals co-exist with humans. You will spend the night at a lodge at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Accommodation: Lodges/ Tented camps rated 4 (Very good) or higher at Tripadvisor.com.

  • Day 5

"“Can’t wait to go back for more!!”"

I surely cannot wait to go back to Tanzania. A 5-day safari is not enough to explore each and every part of this wildlife enigma called - Tanzania North Circuit. I returned from my amazing excursion holiday only last week and I am already booking for the next trip, with my gang! Our package consisted of a complete safari tour to Tanzania North Circuit. It was a 5-day excursion itinerary and man, what a deal it was! The Northern Circuit consists of some of the most remarkable and fabulous sights in the world, such as the Ngorongoro Crater and its enriched abundance of nature and the Wildebeest Migration that takes place once a year. So, our itinerary included a day’s tour, game drive, safari and outdoor activities in each of Tanzania’s biggest and the most popular national parks and game reserves. We started our game drive and the cultural trip from Arusha National Park, since it is close to other parks. We covered it all, from Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park to the largest of all - The Serengeti National Park. Arusha National Park is a beautiful mix of forest environment and savannah. It is an ideal place for birdwatching. If you are a bird lover, then visiting Arusha, will definitely make your day. You can get a glimpse of flamingoes and pelicans, amongst many bird species. We also enjoyed our canoe ride in Momella Lake, trekking the Mount Meru and camping in the lush swamps of Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater is world renowned, as it has a dense wildlife habitat. The Ngorongoro Crater region is also an expansive grassland, and home to saltpans, freshwater lake and forests. The Serengeti National Park is the largest and oldest of all game reserves in Tanzania. It is also a world heritage area, famous for the Big Migration that takes place annually, when millions of zebras, gazelles and hooves, migrate for fresh grazing along with wildebeest. You will love your stay at Tarangire National Park, because we definitely did. The park houses an acacia woodland and rolling savannah. It is also home to beautifully big Baobab trees. Here you can encounter the tree climbing pythons, elephants, hartebeests, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, rhinos and other fantastic creatures! I recommend you book for a week long or more, tour package, if you want to get the most out of your Tanzanian Safari! - Less

"The trip of my life!"

I am 12 years old and I just want to say that I am extremely grateful to my parents for bringing me into this trip. I love animals and I had the opportunity to see my favorite animal: the lion. I love Lion King and my mother and I watch it every year, before Christmas. But here, in Africa, I could see real lions and this was extraordinary for me. I can’t wait to tell my friends all about the things I have seen. All those animals?! Wow! My friend, Cara, is an animal lover as well and I was so sad when my parents said that she cannot come with us. Now, at least, I will get to show her all the photos and videos that we made. I know she will be happy to see them. However, the first person I am planning to share this photos with is my grandpa. He was a teacher and he taught Biology. I am sure he will love them! I think that this was the coolest holiday I have ever had. Now I just can’t stop talking about all the things I have seen there. I just hope that I will not annoy my friends with the things that I keep repeating! - Less
